Dr. Tara Pierce is a board-certified Doctor of Chiropractic and a licensed acupuncturist with advanced certification in dry needling and is owner and founder of OC Well Studio in Newport Beach, Ca.
Her journey in higher education began with a focus on exercise physiology at Cal State Fullerton. She then pursued her Doctor of Chiropractic and Master’s degree in Acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine at Southern California University of Health Sciences. Over years of practice in Newport Beach, Tara discovered the profound relief that musculoskeletal needling provided her patients. This led her to further enhance her skills by becoming a Dry Needling Certified provider.

Shannon Hennigar, LAc
Shannon Hennigar has been practicing acupuncture for 20 years and is a Licensed Acupuncturist by the California State Board since 2005. She also is credentialled for the National Board (NCCAOM), for out of state licensure. She received her Bachelor of Science in Holistic Medicine and Master of Science in Chinese Medicine from South Baylo University. Shannon has experience treating a wide variety of patients in multidisciplinary healthcare settings. From working alongside western medicine healthcare professionals such as Physical Therapists and Chiropractors to eastern medical masters of Qigong, Herbology and Reflexology, she has a balanced perspective in treating the human body.
Shannon utilizes the natural healing modalities of acupuncture, cupping and herbal therapy to bring her patients back to a healthy thriving state. She enjoys helping people discover their own body’s innate healing capacity. Other adjunct therapies that Shannon uses in her treatments include micro needling, aroma-point therapy, Acu-tonics sound therapy, red light/LED light therapy, moxibustion and micro current. She also advises patients with self-care suggestions by incorporating essential oils, vitamin/herbal prescriptions and healing foods dietary advice. Her specialties include pain management and myofascial release, women’s health and anti-aging therapies. She believes by using the principles of eastern medicine, it is possible to achieve your highest mind-body-spirit health mastery goals.

Lindsey is a massage therapist with an intuitive touch. Because of her compassionate personality she found Massage to be the most rewarding career path for her. She has expertise in several modalities. Her specialties include Deep tissue, Prenatal, Lymphatic Drainage, Swedish and assisted stretching.
Lindsey is available for massage therapy services in our Newport Beach office Tuesday and Thursday afternoons as well as Friday and Saturday mornings by appointment only. Lindsey has been a part of OC Well Studio for over a year and has built a strong following of loyal clients because of her warm demeanor, skilled approach and mastery of her craft.

Liberty Lonson, LE
Liberty is a licensed Aesthetician with over 10 years of experience in the spa + wellness industry, including working as a holistic & medical aesthetician in a variety of settings. What lead her to her career in skincare was her own personal struggles with her skin and a natural drive to care for others. Aside from skincare, Liberty is an animal lover and foodie. She believes beauty comes from within and strives to make her clients feel that way. Her favorite service to offer is The Perfect Derma Peel and her most popular treatment is The Works Facial — a custom facial tailored to the clients needs!
