OC Well Studio is a wellness boutique in Newport Beach offering curated treatments for preventative wellness and injury recovery. Focused Shockwave Therapy (ESWT)

Focused shockwave therapy is an advanced, non-invasive treatment that uses targeted acoustic energy to stimulate tissue repair and accelerate healing. This technology is commonly used for chronic conditions such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinitis, tennis elbow, rotator cuff injuries, and other stubborn tendon or soft tissue injuries. Treatments are quick, typically lasting 10–20 minutes, and work by stimulating circulation, breaking down scar tissue, and activating the body’s natural healing response. At OC Well Studio in Newport Beach, focused shockwave therapy is often combined with chiropractic care, dry needling, or soft tissue therapy to help patients recover faster and restore normal movement.

For those who are brand new patients — includes new patient evaluation and initial treatment.

Chiropractic care may include such therapies as joint and muscle manipulation, rehabilitative exercise and education. The new patient encounter starts with a thorough history and examination prior to recommendations for care. If imaging is necessary this will be determined at the time of the initial encounter.
Our prenatal new patient chiropractic treatment includes a gentle, pregnancy-safe assessment and adjustment tailored to your stage of pregnancy. Both of our chiropractors are Webster Technique trained, focusing on reducing back, hip, and pelvic tension to improve comfort, mobility, and balance throughout pregnancy.
The initial acupuncture session includes initial history collection and review of your concerns and goals for treatment. Acupuncture involves the use of very fine needles placed at various acupoints on the body to improve the flow of energy. Acupuncture may be applied for various health concerns.
Dry needling, or trigger point specific sports acupuncture is an intervention for relieving muscle pain and tension and improving function. There is more assertive needle manipulation and electrical current may also be applied to enhance the effects of the therapy. Facial rejuvenation acupuncture is both a cosmetic as well as a full-body wellness treatment. Using the most delicate needles, facial points are used to increase blood flow and energy to the skin. Additionally, acupuncture points on the body that are hand-selected to address your general health concerns and support your aesthetic goals are included. LED red light is applied to the face during the sessions. The first visit will include review of your concerns, goals and general wellness recommendations.
Includes a combination of the two services. After the initial history and any appropriate examination, acupuncture or dry needling treatment, as well as manual therapy and chiropractic adjustment will be given during the time of this session.
Microneedling utilizes a handheld device that rapidly oscillates as the single use 12 needle head is glided over the skin. These micro-punctures to the skin stimulates new collagen production and creates channels which allow skin care products to more efficiently penetrate and improve the condition of the skin. A series of sessions spaced one month apart is recommended for best results.
