Soft tissue therapies
In our Newport Beach wellness studio, we value muscle work as a part of a comprehensive treatment strategy.
Manual and instrument assisted
Musculoskeletal pain treatment isn’t complete without directly addressing the myofascial component. Through a variety of tools, we treat muscle pain and tension to help provide relief and improve mobility and function. These therapies are integrated into your chiropractic, dry needling or acupuncture treatment as indicated, with the exception of cupping offered as an add-on service or fire cupping as standalone treatment.
Manual myofascial release: passive and active release techniques applied by hand help to invigorate blood flow, reduce myofascial trigger points and relieve pain. Hands-on therapy to compliment all the other treatment options we provide.
Graston technique: This instrument assisted soft tissue technique uses state of the art stainless steel scraping tools to target fascial adhesions and improve scar tissue mobility.
Myofascial cupping: We provide stationary and moving cupping using either plastic cups or traditional fire cupping. This specific type of myofascial decompression is one of our most loved muscle treatments. This technique leaves it’s mark, and you’ll love the relief. Cupping is offered as an add-on to other therapies. Fire cupping may be booked independently.
